| This was a project manager position in the Research & Development Group for Sensor and Information Systems. Our goal was to develop/implement new technology which would provide real-time website display of statistical data on factory processes on the intranet to aid factory management, quality assurance and industrial engineers on operational decisions. The implementation of new technology required attention to system documentation, training and support by an engineer with knowledge in TCP/IP, routing, and other types of LAN/WAN support along with electrical, mechanical and software/control systems. Other duties that I performed: -Managed the design and implementation of network-integrated vision sensor (patent pending in conjunction with The Boeing Company). - Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during startup -Prepare software bulletins for maintenance and troubleshooting. -Train maintenance personnel on use of diagnostic/data acquisition software. - Coordinate activities with engineers, software developers and subject-matter-experts during development. -Provide training and support on system operation. -Prepare white papers and intellectual property documentation. |
